Welcome to CodX Editor! By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our platform.
This summary helps explain the longer terms but does not replace them. The most important practical rules are straightforward.
You keep ownership of code and media you create. You are responsible for having permission to use anything you import, upload, publish, or commit.
Do not put passwords, API secrets, private keys, or confidential data in client-side files, public links, collaboration chat, screenshots, or GitHub commits.
People admitted to a collaboration session may see or change shared project content according to their permissions. The host is responsible for managing access.
A published link is meant to be opened by others. Review every included file and remove private information before creating or updating that link. Publishing also issues a verification key that is required to update the link and that lets anyone holding it open the project's full source code, so keep it private and do not share it publicly. You are responsible for keeping your own verification keys secure.
GitHub, font providers, translation services, CDNs, and the browser Node runtime are separate services with their own availability and policies.
Browser storage is convenient, not a guaranteed archive. Export the current project, use ZIP All Projects for the saved-project library, or use a repository when losing work would matter.
By accessing and using CodX Editor, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our service.
CodX Editor is a free, browser-based code editor that allows users to write, run, and debug browser projects. Optional tools include collaboration and pair programming, peer-to-peer pair voice, public project links, GitHub repository access, media and ZIP workflows, interface translation, and a browser-based Node.js runtime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties or guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice.
As a user of CodX Editor, you agree to:

This includes the use of Google AdSense for displaying advertisements, which operates under its own policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services, including those that serve advertisements.
CodX Editor is an open-source project. While the core service is free to use, any contributions to the project are subject to the project's open-source license terms available in our repository.
